Does ‘Sexy And I Know It’ Sound Sexier On A Guitar?

Big Head Todd, the lead singer of the ’90s rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters that Wikipedia tells me is popular in the mountain states, showed up to the Bing Lounge in February to play some music. Not familiar with the Bing Lounge? It’s across the hall from the Google Playroom and around the corner from the Yahoo Dungeon. You’d know if you saw it.

Anyways, Todd Park Mohr AKA Big Head Todd brought his guitar and his drum (two basics that should be in every girl’s handbag!) to the lounge and busted out a new rendition of LMFAO‘s  fabulously rauchchy “Sexy and I Know It” because his kids asked him to do it.

I wish my parents’ jobs offered me opportunities like that. But I fear in their fields, if they launched into that song, it would end in lawsuits and other such “my doctor made me feel really uncomfortable today” nonsense.

It’s definitely not as dance-able as the original song, but it feels a little less dirty — like something you could play in front of your grandparents or Tim Tebow.

What do you think? Sexier?

Absolutely!!! BHTM get my vote every time .

By far a sexier version…he knows how to sing it. I was not a fan of the song until now.

Crazy good! Nothing better than a killer guitar! Vote, Vote Vote Vote!

Not even close. Todd rocks it with his blues version. (BTW, BHTM is bigger, nationwide, than LMFAO will ever be. They get better with age and they’ve been doing it for 25+ years).

I really don’t think so….. but it’s better the original way!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw BHTM play this live in Austin at Stubbs and it was awesome. As soon as I heard it I said it was way better than the original version.
