As you may have heard today, Ashton Kutcher has signed up to become one of the first civilians to visit outer space as part of a test run for Richard Branson‘s new commercial space tourism endeavor Virgin Galactic. Which leads me to wonder: really? Him? Ashton’s good in stoner comedies and all, but when it comes to who I want representing the human race to potential alien contacts, there are a few other people who come to mind before the guy from Dude, Where’s My Car? In that vein, I give you: eight notable people better fit to represent Earth than Ashton Kutcher.
