We were pissed off when Glee concluded its winter finale by having Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) get in a nasty car crash. It seemed to add insult to injury for Quinn, the only glee club kid to have her future planned out, to potentially die in what resembled a don’t-text-while-driving PSA.
So, does Quinn die? New photos from the Glee set (dated February 21) assure us that Quinn survived, but with one big consequence: She’s in a wheelchair. Above, that’s her and Artie (Kevin McHale) shooting a scene at a skatepark. Wetpaint did some digging and discovered that the wheelchair organization Life Rolls On had tweeted photos of its dancers and skaters with Kevin and Dianna, corroborating the presence of LRO’s members at the scene.
Furthermore, the site points out, why would Fox shoot such an involved scene unless the point of it, plotwise, is for Artie to convince Quinn that a permanent spinal cord injury isn’t the end of the world? Of course, if Quinn is permanently confined to a wheelchair, it would sour her return to the Cheerios and possibly even set her up to repeat her senior year. After all, as Artie told Tina at the beginning of season 3, “The chair adds another year.”
