It’s hard not to love Betty White, to see her on TV and not want to take her home and make her be your dirty-talkin` grandmother.
The 90-year-old actress has experienced an amazing career comeback in the past few years and she’s proven that her return to the spotlight is well deserved. Ever since she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2010, she’s been game for just about anything. Next up on the agenda is being the featured guest at the annual Friar’s Club Roast in May.
On the honor of being made fun of by the Hollywood elite, she says:
“Those Friars may think I’m an easy mark, but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them,” White said. “This is such an honor to be roasted by the Friars Club. It will be an afternoon filled with dirty words, risque jokes & sex talk…..and that’s just what I plan on saying!”
I think we all know Betty White`s no easy mark and for as much joking and ribbing is involved in the roast, there will be just as much admiration and respect. Seriously, the woman`s 90-years-old and she`s as active as I am. While you may take into consideration that I never go to the gym and I sit around at desk all day, it`s still pretty impressive.
So while we have to wait for a few months before the roast, we can prepare by taking some of her advice right now: drink more vodka.
