Is Anyone Surprised Bobbi Kristina Showed Up Drunk To Whitney Houston’s Burial?

When one train wreck dies, we immediately start looking for another — and what better place to look than Whitney Houston‘s own family. Within days of Whitney Houston’s death, funeral and burial everyone’s already excited about the prospect that her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has a drug and alcohol problem.

Immediately after Whitney died, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital and since then it’s been one headline after another declaring her to be “in trouble.” According to Radar Online, Bobbi did drugs after her mother’s funeral on Saturday and showed up drunk to the burial on Sunday. A source tells them:

“Bobbi Kristina didn’t want to be at the burial, and she looked wasted,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Krissy’s eyes were glassy, and she seemed to be very disconnected from the service. Krissy hasn’t been eating or sleeping and just can’t stand to be around her family right now. Krissy’s group of friends appear to be much older, and don’t seem to have her best interests at heart.” [tagbox tag="Bobbi Kristina Brown"]

Pray tell, when in the history of anonymous sources has this ever helped someone get better? Considering Bobbi Kristina’s parents suffered from drug and alcohol abuse and considering she’s been rumored to have been in trouble for awhile, I don’t find it surprising that she showed up drunk to her mother’s funeral. This probably isn’t the first time she’s addressed extreme grief by blacking out.

What does surprise me is how quickly everyone forgets how Whitney died. She died of drug abuse. Shockingly none of the media’s many reports that she abused drugs and alcohol over the years seemed to get through to her.  The only thing that might have worked was the support of her family and friends.

That’s what Bobbi Kristina needs now. She does not need her family or “close” family friends speaking to the press or revealing anything about her problems. She’s 18, she just lost her mother and she needs help. Not headlines.

Some of us do not “immediately” start looking for another “train wreck,” because, unlike the people who create this site and write this garbage, some of us have lives and do not need to cover the sad personal details of someone’s life. What is the point or purpose of your “coverage” of Bobbi Kristina? None as far as I can tell.

    • grouston

I agree, tabloid journalism, it sells. If we could/would just leave these people alone instead of profiting on their misery and pain; we as a society would be much better off. print more good news, people in recovery.

  • Cate

I would get messed up after the funeral too. LEAVE this family alone. National Enquirer is pathetic. Showing Whitney’s body. Really. I wish nothing but the best for Krissy. Let it go people.

  • tweetie

Did you really have to call Ms. Whitney Houston a trainwreck? REALLY… clicking off your website. You’re no better than the enquirer? Wow how sad!!!!!!!!

  • Sashaj

So that source said. Even if she did come to her mother’s funeral drunk are high. This is not out the ordinary. I’m quite sure more than a few people have done this same thing. I don’t think its a big deal. At least not worth printing in headlines. Leave Bobby Christina alone. I sure hope Bobby is not reading the awful things that the tabloids have been saying about her.

I am just disgusted that you people can attack this child as she just lost her mother! Have you no heart! And as for the picture some things should be left alone and I really hope that whoever sold it to the press gets in to some serious sh!t…. Also I am very annoyed with the fact that you sit there and call her a trainwreck! Have some respect for her! She is no longer with us! And even if she was a “train wreck” you should leave it alone! People do not care to see this I can not believe you pigs make money off of this CRAP! I pray everyday for Bobbi Kristina and the rest of Whitney Houston’s family! LEAVE IT ALONE! Let them have some peace! And let WHITNEY REST IN PEACE! ….

    THAT IS ALL!

  • Laina

Why is it OK to show up drunk and wasted at your mom’s funeral. Is this acceptable behavior. When my mom died I conducted myself appropriately. Just because they are celebrities and I use that term loosely, decorum still rules. Chill out – I got this!

    • Tony

      Let’s see Laina,
How would you have done if they had called your mother a drug addict and a drunk, smeared her name all over the press, openly discussed all your family’s business and wrote miles and miles of print about how it was her own damned fault that she’s dead??? Think you would have faired as well then???

  • pkjane

Yeah, it’s really not all that uncommon. Laina, cookie for you being all straight and sobes at your mother’s. Funny you use the phrase “I got this,” because that was pretty much my entire role as my dad was dying and my family falling apart. I made all the arrangements, took care of all the logistics, gave a eulogy, etc. No one else was ok enough to do it. And while I did it all, there were massive quantities of wine involved.

Makes me recall the Newsradio ep after Phi Hartman’s passing during which straight-laced Lisa admits she had been drunk the whole week.

  • Matthew

Ugh! Can I have your job? I could write/edit better than you when I was in the 4th grade! “She does not her family or “close” family friends speaking to the press or revealing anything about her problems.” Really? How much do you make?

  • Owen

I give her a year and a half before her funeral.

    • what?

      i give you a week

    • NESSA

YOU DON’T SUPPOSE TO WISH DEATH ON ANYBODY LIKE THAT, YOU NEED TO FALL ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY THAT GOD FORGIVES YOU CAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOUR DAY IS COMING. AND JUST SO YOU KNOW THAT YOUNG LADY (BOBBY KRISTINA) IS BEING WATCHED OVER BY GOD AND SHE IS IN HIS HANDS THANK YOU VERY MUCH. YOU NEED TO STAY PRAYED UP

    • Donna Grey

You are very ignorant and I hope you never are in this young ladies shoes. A real adult would keep this child in prayer but a hater would say something as awful as you did

  • lilbit

Considering she was taken to the hospital twice after whitney died. She may be on tranquilizers or anti- depressants just to cope. Plus she has to deal with the same bs whitney did with everybody trying to make a buck off her. Leave her alone or else put your own families business in the street.

  • curious
