Kreayshawn Meets Rebecca Black, And The Universe Doesn’t Implode

They’re like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Leonardo DiCaprio versus Daniel Day-Lewis in Gangs of New York. LuAnn de Lesseps versus Ramona Singer.

They represent opposite ends of the music spectrum, and yet Kreayshawn and Rebecca Black managed to coexist in the same universe. Since both of them got their fame from the Internet, Kreayshawn’s often been called “the next Rebecca Black,” with the difference that she actively promoted herself. (And the fact that instead of singing about cereal and the weekend, she raps about cat shit and has been accused of mimicking black stereotypes to get attention.)

We wouldn’t have been surprised if the encounter had ended with one of their bloody corpses deposited on the street in front of the Nokia Theatre in LA. But instead we got this twitpic of Kreayshawn looking surprised and Rebecca frankly amused at the turn of events.
