Alex McCord And Simon Van Kempen Are Begging Their Sugar Daddy Bravo To Let Them Stay On The Real Housewives Of New York City

Despite what they’re saying to the media that they’re OK with getting kicked off The Real Housewives of New York City, Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen are reportedly freaking out—and going to desperate measures to beg for their jobs back.

A source close to Bravo tells E! that Alex and Simon are heading to Bravo HQ today and will play off the fact that Andy Cohen seems to think they’re still useful:

“Basically, they’ve been begging to stay on. Simon questions how he can ‘harness the swell of support’ behind them. They’re not accepting that it’s done. They are meeting with Bravo this afternoon and Bravo doesn’t want them on the show, but Andy would like them to pop up occasionally, whether on Housewives or other programs on the network is what they’re saying.”

All they need to do is have more scenes like their skin-crawling reunion after Alex came back from Morocco, when Simon presented her with garment bags filled with lingerie that she later modeled for him… all on-camera. We were appalled, but it made for great TV.

No comment from Bravo yet. And what were Simon and Alex saying just a few days ago?

Alex:

“It’s a completely friendly departure and while it was their decision and not ours, we are in close communication with both Bravo and the production company about our next move, in addition to fielding outside offers.”

Simon:

“It was bittersweet to finally get the call last Saturday but we knew it was on the cards. Four years is a long time in TV land and we had no idea when we auditioned in 2006 that we’d still have been on air in 2011. It’s been a bumpy ride; sometimes great and sometimes not, but it’s been an experience that I don’t regret having done.”

    I don’t know how any modern woman in the USA can tolerate the dynamics between Alex and Simon. Is this the relationship that you want your daughters and sons to enter into. A grasping husband exploiting his family to support same. A wife with no personality, dependent on her husband for validation in thoughts, deeds and wardrobe. Remember how he sought out her attackers to make friends of them, his passive aggressive actions. Picking her up at a fashion shoot and demeaning her for wanting to make money. For God’s sake look at the clues. If she doesn’t know because she is so beaten down, at least we who are observers should recognize it.

    Rich handsome men can fall in love with fat ugly women. It probably doesn’t happen often, however. We live in a society that places a great deal of emphasis on looks.     Thank God Alex and Simon are gone. They keep hating but it says more about them than anyone else.

    They’re negative, irresponsible, desperate parasites. They fed off everybody else but never brought anything special of their own. I feel sorry for their kids who have these two delusional high school haters for parents. No wonder those kids seemed so impulsive and lost.
