Questionable Choices: Darren Criss’ Hipster Glasses at the Emmys

Reactions are split about Darren Criss‘ choice of eyewear on the Emmys red carpet: They look a little too real to be ironic, which was throwing off his otherwise smooth look. Celebuzz reports that they’re actually Darren’s prescription glasses; his eyes were bothering him, so he slapped them on for the pre-show.

We’re not sure if we should give him credit for wearing non-prop glasses, or if he’s just too dorky with them.
