Boardwalk Empire Rolls Out Cool Vintage Subway Cars in New York City

This is advertising we can get behind — especially since it’s in our city! To promote the second season of Boardwalk Empire, HBO went above and beyond just posters in the subway station: They’ve got a vintage 1920s subway train that will run along the 2/3 stop throughout New York City on weekends in September.

Gothamist reports that the train will run 12-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through the 25th, and that they’ll be old-school on the inside, too: Ceiling fans, drop-sash windows, the whole shebang. But the real question is, do we get to ride with a dapper Steve Buscemi and a probably-naked Paz de la Huerta?
