Perhaps proving my conspiracy theory — that Lionsgate will let the Hunger Games actors socialize only with their other district members — Leven Rambin just tweeted that as part of her 21st birthday shenanigans, she and fellow District 1 tribute Jack Quaid are keeping it real:
Celebrating with @JackQuaid92 by hitting up a WalMart! Woohoo!
Rambin and Quaid play Glimmer and Marvel, “Career” tributes who, thanks to their cushy lifestyles in District 1, consider competing in the Hunger Games an honor and train their whole lives for it. Early on in the Games, they make an alliance with several other Careers, including the psychotic District 2 tributes Cato (Alexander Ludwig) and Clove (Isabelle Fuhrman).
Rambin officially rang in her birthday with other young actresses: Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita), Tiffany Thornton (Sonny with a Chance), and Francia Raisa (Secret Life of the American Teenager).
I wouldn’t be surprised if Rambin and Quaid ended up linked together while shooting The Hunger Games. Although the main love story of the book is Katniss/Peeta, it wouldn’t be surprising if tributes from districts where they train together would also develop a romance.
