Scrabble Dictionary Adds Slang and Technobabble to New List

Four years after its last edition in 2007, there’s a new version of the Collins Official Scrabble Words book (compiled by staff in Glasgow, Scotland), with over 3,000 new words. While some purists will be frustrated to see “Facebook” and “grrl” on the board, the change could draw in younger players. The publishers assure those who might be rattled by the change by calling this the “most comprehensive Scrabble wordlist ever produced.”
