Celebrities Are Already Lobbying for Spots On Next Season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Even though we still have several weeks to go on the current season of Dancing with the Stars, several celebrities are trying to get cast for next season. The show is a great way for C-listers to be relevant again (while collecting a paycheck), and now celebs are even requesting certain partners as part of their contract. Who’s putting their hat in the ring for Season 13?

Kelly Preston

The actress and new mom told In Touch that she’d love to do Dancing with the Stars. Her friend and fellow Scientologist Kirstie Alley is on the show this year, and it’s normal for celebrities to recruit friends for the show. Plus, it seems like a law that every season has to feature someone who is on the show to lose weight, so Kelly could fit that role. And you know that ABC is salivating at the thought of Kelly’s husband John Travolta sitting in the audience every week.

Maci Bookout

The winner of our “Who’s the best Teen Mom?” poll announced that she would love to get cast on the show. Dancing has cast reality stars before, and Maci would probably be less polarizing than Kate Gosselin. Plus, she already spray tans, so the show would save money on her tanning budget.

Jermaine Dupri

The music producer told Access Hollywood that he wants to be on Dancing because he’s already a good dancer. He should probably get ready for the constant cries of “Ringer!” if he does end up on the show.

Greg Louganis

The gold medal winning diver admitted in a People magazine interview that he would like to do Dancing. Former Olympians tend to do really well on Dancing, as past winners Kristi Yamaguchi, Apolo Anton Ohno, and Shawn Johnson have already shown.
