Video: Did You Catch the ‘Veronica Mars’ Shout-Out on Last Night’s ‘Community’?

It wasn’t a huge moment, but we were gratified to hear our favorite teen sleuth mentioned on last night’s episode of Community, “Competitive Wine Tasting.” In one of the subplots, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) fought for the attentions of a lovely Chinese woman named Wu Mei. But when she and Pierce suddenly decided to get married, Jeff did some recon on the woman who carries wipes labeled “Red Dragon.” You have to admit, he does devote himself to the mystery for the whole minute it’s present on-screen.
