The magazine alleges that Corey Simms has been withdrawing large amounts of money from wife Leah Messer‘s bank account without her permission, including one $19,000 withdrawal to buy a new truck. The Teen Mom 2 stars are the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah and had their wedding featured in the show’s season finale earlier this month. In the reunion special that aired the week after the finale, the two said that they made their marriage a priority by working on their communication skills and having weekly Friday night “date nights.” According to In Touch, the money in their account was Leah’s MTV paycheck, and Corey’s action made her so upset that she left him.
I really hope that this story isn’t true. I know I shouldn’t buy into a heavily edited TV show, but it seemed to me like Leah and Corey really loved each other and wanted their relationship to work.
