Jada Pinkett and Omar Epps, Scream 2
Scream 2 got even more meta than the first movie, with the opening taking place at a preview of Stab, the horror movie based on Gale’s bestselling book about the Woodsboro murders. However, the night doesn’t end well for Maureen Evans and her boyfriend…
Henry Winkler, Scream
It is a crime that there isn’t footage of The Fonz’s cameo in the original movie on YouTube. He plays the creepy principal who doesn’t believe Sidney. I’ll always remember that the first time I saw Scream, a friend told me, “Right when you think you know who the killer is, he or she is gonna die.” I laughed it off, but it was true: At his creepiest, Winkler bites it.
The Killers: Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard (Scream), Timothy Olyphant and Laurie Metcalf (Scream 2), Scott Foley (Scream 3)
It’s not worth linking to the three separate videos, because it’s the same deal: Big fight, emotional reveal, make sure you shoot them in the head. But it’s impressive that the casts are so filled with celebrities that these actors’ inclusion wasn’t an automatic tip-off to their true identities.
As for the fresh meat in Scream 4, we’ve got a huge cast to look forward to: Lucy Hale, Shenae Grimes, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Alison Brie, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Adam Brody, Erik Knudsen, and Rory Culkin.
