Good news, people who want to fight for American freedom – the dude who punched Snooki in the face on the first season of Jersey Shore is joining the military. Long Island native Brad Ferro, who lost his job as a schoolteacher when the clip of him socking Snooks was aired on MTV (the punch was cut out of the actual episode after viewer complaints), apparently decided the army was the only company who would have him. Ferro told reporters that his life was ruined after the punching incident – in addition to being fired, he had trouble finding work and had to move back in with his parents, plus it was hard for him to date or make new friends because anyone who Googled his name would find out about his Jersey Shore connection. “He lost his career and his pride and everything else. But he’s getting it back. You can’t keep a good man down for too long,” his dad told the New York Post.
