The Dos and Don’ts of Drama, with ‘Degrassi’: Finding Jesus

I’ve been a mostly-faithful Degrassi viewer since the series — meaning, the latest incarnation, Degrassi: The Next Generation — hit the airwaves in 2001. Though I strayed for a few years after the students I’d grown up with went to university, I soon found that the new crop of kids got into as much over-the-top drama as their predecessors.

It’s an alluring lifestyle: Breakups, kidnappings, drugs, pregnancy, and stardom befall all Degrassi High kids. I’ll be recapping season 10 — also known as Degrassi: In Too Deep — with valuable lessons on how to amp up the drama in your own lives, starting with  last Friday’s episode “Jesus, Etc., Part One.”
