Lucky Brits — they already have Oxford as the setting for the Hogwarts Great Hall, but in spring 2012, UK residents will be able to visit “The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter“ in Leavesden. This attraction is not a theme park, per se, but rather a “behind-the-scenes walking tour which immerses guests into the world of film-making”, according to the site’s FAQ page. Here’s the main draw: The tour features the sets, costumes, and props used in the eight Potter films.
Tickets, which haven’t been priced yet but “will be comparable to other London attractions”, have yet to go on sale. (You an pre-book here.) However, we’re already contemplating which parts of the wizarding world we’d want to see–and which props we’d get our mitts on–if given the chance.
