Did Natalie Portman’s Pregnancy Bump Knock Her Off Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Cover?

With the Oscars only a few sort weeks away, Hollywood has kicked into high gear to promote its stars, and Vanity Fair has obliged with its annual Hollywood issue. Just like every year, the cover is filled with lots of hot young actors and actresses all dressed to the nines (click on the above image to see the whole thing). But one lady is decidedly missing from this portrait: Natalie Portman.

Did her pregnancy bump throw off the whole sexy young vibe? I think it did.

Why else would her costar Mila Kunis be on there without Natalie? Granted, there are plenty of actors that are profiled in the magazine and not on the cover, but the Black Swan actress fits squarely in the same age demographic as the rest of the cover stars, and is considered a lock to win the best actress trophy at the Oscars. Why wouldn’t she also be on the cover?

Consider this: Jesse Eisenberg is on the front and is also listed as one of the Oscar contenders interviewed inside. But Natalie didn’t make the cut. Is this some sort of cover chastity belt? Or who knows. Maybe it was that laugh that did her in.

Sure. When they’re by themselves and being shot in a pseudo arty way.

Outrage matched, and totes agree w your comment Meghan! Vanity Fair <3's bumps only when it's all about the bump. They definitely can't take it in stride.
