‘Glee’ Auditions Will Become Reality Show Next Year

If you want to be the next Glee star, it looks like you’re going to have to audition in front of America. Starting next summer, Oxygen will being airing a reality show that seeks to find a new cast member for the hit singing TV show. Glee announced a big open casting call seeking new stars earlier this year, but it looks like the casting that will be part of the reality show will be happening later.

Reports Deadline.com:

That Glee reality show on Oxygen for next summer, which fits into the network’s all-unscripted lineup, will feature contestants vying for a role on the musical dramedy. Co-creator Ryan Murphy had originally planned the contest to lead Glee’s 2nd season premiere on Fox this coming fall. But then he realized he was too busy. Additionally, we hear the Oxygen deal involves some additional Glee-related original programming.”

Now the question is, will America be able to vote on who we want to see on Glee?
