Angelina Jolie will be playing the snake-bitten Egyptian queen Cleopatra in an upcoming adaptation of the biography Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra: A Life (we hope they change the title for the film). Anyway, so far the movie only has a producer and no director, or leading male for Angelina to play off of, but we’re thinking Marc Anthony could be played by Brad Pitt, since the original film had Elizabeth Taylor and her lover Richard Burton in the original roles.
We also hope this version involves Angelina making Cleopatra into a Lara Croft-type character, and she ends up battling Mark Indelicato.
