Move over, Betty White, Facebook has a new TV cause to campaign for: Letting Mitch and Cam, the gay couple from ABC’s Modern Family, share a kiss onscreen. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet (who play the respective roles of new fathers of an adopted Vietnamese baby) wouldn’t be the first gay kiss on ABC’s screen: Justin (our boy Marc Indelicato) locked lips on Ugly Betty with his theater-buddy Austin (Ryan McGinnis) shortly before the series ended. Hopefully it won’t take that long for the producers of ABC’s funniest show to realize that two men kissing is at least as socially acceptable as a plot that centers around a grandfather who married a Colombian woman half his age. And they get to kiss.
