The Suite Life‘s Brenda Song walked the red carpet at this weekend’s 17th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women in Los Angeles, but we doubt that she actually participated in the 5K race, at least before changing her shoes.
Brenda posed for pics on the event’s red carpet wearing totally impractical — and not to mention pretty ugly — high heeled sneakers. Other stars on hand, including Rachel Leigh Cook, Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen, Desperate Housewives‘ James Denton, Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba and Marg Helgenberger from CSI all came more appropriately dressed. We get the sporty theme, but…we think Brenda took it a little too far. You can either be sporty or fancy, not both.
The race took place on Saturday, to raise awareness and money for women’s cancer research. It’s not the first time Brenda Song has appeared at a cancer awareness event. Earlier this year, she appeared at the 14th Annual Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County Race for the Cure, and revealed that her mother had battled breast cancer, so the cause is close to her heart.
What do you think of Brenda’s shoes?
