Yesterday, we learned that Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody, aka Brooke Busey, was pregnant. And after speculation over who her mysterious husband/baby daddy could be (could it be Justin Bieber?), Diablo put the whole thing to rest, via Twitter naturally.
Responding to claims that she had been “secretly married,” Diablo tweeted:
Turns out, Diablo/Brooke is just not big on publicly announcing things that happen to in her personal life. Although she doesn’t try to hide the facts, it seems like her role as a writer grants her a certain level of anonymity. As she tweeted, “No secrets here; just thought it would be fun to see how big I could get before someone noticed.”
And just to be official, Diablo’s husband is Dan Maurio, a staffer at Chelsea Lately.
