Hey ladiiiiiez, you know how it is when you are just a normal 20-something, living your SATC/Gossip Girl lifestyle in New York City when suddenly that crazy urge strikes you. You know which one. The one that says, “I need to settle down, get serious, and star on a reality show about women desperate to get married before the age of 30!” We all have those feelings, they are a natural part of aging, and CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen would like to help you out.
Ricky’s Tumblr reads:
We’re doing a new show and looking for NYC based, late 20-something city girls who REALLY want to get married before they turn 30. Is that you? Or someone you know? If so, we want to hear from you!
Our show is called MARRIED BY 30 and it’s for a premier, upscale cable network. In the show, our cast of single women and gay men will set their own wedding date and then let our cameras follow their year-long search for Mr. Right. We are looking for smart, successful girls and guys with personality to spare. Ideally, you live, work and socialize in Manhattan. You should be part of the New York social scene and preferably spend summers in the Hamptons. To qualify for the show, you must be 26-28 years-old in 2010.
So basically: It’s never too early to start training to be on Real Housewives? We’re assuming that this notice doesn’t apply to Van Veen’s new employee, Anna Wintour‘s daughter Bee Shaffer, who we have on good authority as dating Jake Hurwitz from CollegeHumor’s Jake & Amir series.
