Lindsay Lohan Loses Fashion Gig

Lindsay LohanLooks like Lindsay Lohan will have to go back to designing her own leggings line now that French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro has cut her from their pay roll. The company named Linds their artist adviser (whatever that is) last year, and the subsequent runway show was panned by critics. She was nowhere to be seen at Ungaro’s fall 2010 runway show in Paris this morning and the company’s owner told WWD Lindsay had no input into the most recent collection. Somehow, we don’t think Lindsay will be applying for unemployment any time soon, but it’s still got to sting. [E! Online]

    Now, I could be wrong, but my theory is this: Lindsay is contracted to be part of the Spring line for Ungaro — not the Fall line, which is in Paris now. She avoided going to the Fall show because — to her credit — she didn’t want the focus to be on her and not on Archs’ designs. Lindsay is still part of the Ungaro team; nothing about that has changed.
