On last night’s two-hour season premiere of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, things were incredibly interesting, especially for a premiere. The players have all been on the show before and they have definitely taken the competition to a new level.

In the first tem minutes of the show, the injuries began. The first group to go head-to-head in the first Reward Challenge challenge, Stephenie dislocated her shoulder and had to have it put back into place by the medical team. OUCH! But she’s still in it.

Then, in the same challenge, Rupert broke one of his toes in several places. They taped it up and he is still in it too. Yikes!

And Sandra unhooked Sugar’s bra during the challenge to try to keep her from scoring, but she didn’t seem upset about it at all and finished the challenge topless!

The Heroes won the first challenge and got the flint to make fire. But on the Villains team, Rob wasn’t going to let that stop him. He used bamboo and somehow got enough friction to make a fire. Go, Rob!

At the Heroes camp, Tom spotted a rooster and three chickens and with help from the others, they captured them. They killed one for food and kept the others for eggs. They are off to a great start too!

Romance seemed to be possible between Jerri and Coach, so it will be interesting to see what develops there. Russell is up to his old tricks of trying to play everyone against everyone, but the seasoned players are onto him.

At the Immunity Challenge, the Villains took the Immunity Idol. So the Heroes had to go to the first Tribal Counsel.

At the camp, there was a lot of discussion about who to vote out. Sugar wanted to get rid of Amanda, she felt she shouldn’t get to the end for a third time. Colby wanted to get rid of Sugar, he thought she was annoying and not strong in the challenges. Tom wanted to get rid of Cirie, he thought she was the biggest threat. Amanda & Cirie thought Stephanie had too much game and should go.

At Tribal Counsel, it seemed like anyone could go home. But the tribe voted and it was Sugar who was eliminated. Too bad, she’s a cool person.

This season is going to be interesting because all the players know about each other already, except for Russell. They are strategizing differently because they know more about each other. It should be a great season!
