On last night’s episode of the Biggest Loser, Alison Sweeney surprised the contestants with a very important pop challenge at the beginning of the week. They had to run a mile to get a key card, then run back to see if it was one of the few to give them a point. The first team to get 3 points with the cards would get immunity…and have to assign some disadvantages to the other teams.
Much to some of the other teams’ disgust, the Red Team won immunity. Then they had to assign to disadvantages. They told John that he would not be allowed into the gym all week. Mike would not be able to vote this week for the elimination. And they gave a 2 lb. disadvantage to the Green Team.
The Green Team, Miggy & Migdalia had been showing some bad attitude already toward the Red Team, but this just made things nastier.
The big drama this week was over the fact that Melissa hadn’t lost anything for two weeks in a row. Both trainers felt that she threw the weigh-ins because she knew her loss wouldn’t count. She was offended that they didn’t believe her. Jillian predicted that this week, she would lose a lot in order to try to make herself look better about the situation.
Mike really stepped up this week and put his whole heart into his workouts.
Then came the big [and I do mean BIG] challenge for the week. The team to get their platform to the top of the crane first would get phone calls home and the ability to give three other teams a phone call home.

The Gray Team was awesome. They won the challenge and they decided to give the calls to John because he has a baby at home, the Green Team, because Migdalia had kids at home and her husband would be leaving for Afghanistan before she might get back and to the Red Team because both parents were at the ranch and their kids were at home. These seemed like the perfect choices to me.
Here’s how the weigh-in went this week:
| Team | Person | Prev. Wt. | Curr. Wt. | # Loss | Team Loss | % |
| Gray | Sam | 334 | 320 | -14 | -26 | 3.78% |

The Green Team was below the yellow line, soo ne of them would have to go home. There was still a lot of animosity on the part of the Green Team toward the Red Team, and Migdalia just announced to the others that she wanted to go home. The others voted and she Migdalia the one sent home.
It seemed like a good thing for her to go home. She seems like she’s much happier with her children and she got to see her husband before he shipped out. I hope she can do what she needs to do to lose the weight at home.
What did you think of this week’s episode? Is it just me, or does Melissa remind anyone else of last season’s Tracey?
