In ‘Luke Can See Her Face‘, we learn that Lindsay and Dean are not having the best marriage so far. Right now, Dean is working a lot and Lindsay is mad because she wants to go out. She calls Dean selfish for never being with her. He, on the other hand, feels pressure to buy her a townhouse and car. In the end, it comes down to Lindsay being bored all day.
So, we need to presume here that Lindsay is being the “housewife” all day. She’s staying at home, not going out to see friends or to work a job, even part time. Why do you think she does this? Is it to give Dean the “ideal” wife he always dreamed of? Or was it perhaps her dream to never have to work? Why doesn’t she figure out a way to alleviate her own boredom?
