Melissa McCarthy fans can rejoice!! Though we may no longer be seeing her as the lovable Sookie on Gilmore Girls or the crazy Dena on Samantha Who?, we can look forward to seeing her back on TV!
Melissa McCarthy has joined the cast of new ABC sitcom Hank as a recurring character. The comedy series stars Kelsey Grammer as Hank Pryor, a Wall Street executive who loses his job, and everything he owns, and has to move back to a small-town with his family. Melissa is set to play Dawn, sister-in-law to Hank and wife to “hillbilly” Grady Funk.
Hank will premiere on ABC on Wednesday, September 30th. Though the pilot failed to impress critics early on, word has it that it was re-shot, so hopefully it turns out to be a good series!
