Miami Social, the show that was supposed to make us wish we were middle aged club-goers in South Beach, is finishing up its first season tonight. Bravo cares about this show so little they switched its time slot to 9pm, giving the show’s normal time to the much-anticipated season 3 premiere of Flipping Out.
In any case, whether or not you liked, or even watched the show, it’s over tonight. Previously, George confronted Lina about her “miscarriage.” Lina was shown talking on the phone with her mother in Russian, talking about a mystery “pill,” but this could literally mean anything, not necesarilly, that Lina took RU-486 to terminate her pregnancy. It’s RealityTown, and they can make it sound like anything they want. The end result is that George and Lina have some more sex to resolve their differences. George says he’s “addicted” to her. And perhaps some other things, judging on how twitchy and tore up he always looks on camera.
Hardy gets to throw an Operation Smile benefit. Who is boning Andy Cohen at Operation Smile? Will Bravo become Operation Smile TV? First NYC Prep, now this? Not dogging on Operation Smile’s mission, but enough is enough. There are other charities in the world, I promise!
Sweet Michael goes on a date with a hottie named Diego. It’s hellla awkward. Michael Facebook-stalks him and sees that he’s not the kind of gay Michael likes. Too many tight t-shirts. Maria doesn’t do much in this episode besides provide cues for Michael to speak. After reading Maria’s insane, rambling about The Secret on her Bravo blog, I really wish Maria would speak up more. She has many incredible things to say. And by incredible, I mean unintentionally hilarious.
Ariel has a fashion show and continues to be obnoxious as ever. And finally, Sorah threatens to cut ties with George after he drunk dials her, and more importantly because he hasn’t been paying the bills on his condo, which is strangely enough, in her name. She wants to sell the condo in three months, which George laughs at because it’s “his” house. Actually, George, it’s not your house and you should’ve thought of that when giving your ex-wife the legal rights to your property.
Tonight’s previews look tame compared to all the above: Maria goes on a first date (remember all the hype about how she was bisexual? Missed opportunity there, Bravo), Katrina signs her divorce papers, and George asks Trisha to marry him:
