President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, were spotted spending a long weekend in Chicago. The first real break the couple have had since he became president on Jan. 20, according to the Chicago Sun-Times:

They were spotted leaving a quiet Valentine’s dinner last night at their fave restaurant Table 52, a restaurant owned by Oprah Winfrey’s former chef, Art Smith.

Art’s restaurant in D.C., Art & Soul, is reported to be just as tasty.

The First Couple took the weekend off from any official public events and were able to enjoy Holiday weekend together at their Hyde Park home on Chicago’s south side.

OH! How wonderful that they spent the American Taxpayers money flying to Chicago for a dinner when most of us American Taxpayers can barely afford to put food on our tables.

And how much did Bush travel to Crawford? How much did he spend on an aircraft carrier for to name after his dad? How much did he spend giving money to banks who gave themselves bonuses? How much more did those banks spend on taking their company execs to Vegas?

I think a Valentine’s Day going HOME to Chicago a couple of states away is acceptable.

At least he’s not taking the same Golden Parachute approach that Bush did.
