By this time, we’re all pretty familiar with Daniel Radcliffe’s controversial role in “Equus” – he’s nude at the end, okay, let’s move on, it’s a very highly regarded play.
However, Daniel gave a recent interview in which he expressed his frustration at various “fans” writing him and telling him that he’s involved in pornography. Here’s what he had to say:
“Offended mothers were calling up and saying I shouldn’t be doing this, that they weren’t going to go see it.
“Okay, don’t see it. They’re treating it like it’s pornography, and it’s not. It’s only seven minutes at the end of the play when I’m naked, and I’m 19 now.”
I tend to agree with him. The play IS controversial, not only because of the nude scene, but because of the subject matter (read more about Equus here). What do you think?
